What is a restroom trailer?
A restroom trailer is a towable bathroom with real flush toilets, vanity sinks, mirrors, lights and fans. Our 2-stall trailer has separate doors and steps for each stall. It holds its own fresh water and waste tanks. It needs level ground and a power hookup, and we set it up and level it on delivery.

What does my site need for a restroom trailer?
A restroom trailer site needs level, firm ground about 8 feet wide and 16 feet long, plus room for the truck to back in. It needs a standard 20-amp outdoor outlet within about 50 feet, or a generator. A garden hose connection is helpful for long events, but the onboard tank covers most single-day weddings.
- Level within a few inches; we use jacks and blocks for small slopes
- No soft lawn after heavy rain
- Overhead clearance of about 12 feet for the truck
- A spot reachable again for pump-out and pickup
How many guests does a 2-stall trailer serve?
A 2-stall restroom trailer counts as 2 toilets on our planning chart. That serves about 100 guests for a 4-hour event, or 75 guests for a 5-hour event with a bar. Larger events pair a trailer with flushing units or add a second trailer. Pump-out between days is needed for multi-day use.

When is a restroom trailer the wrong choice?
A restroom trailer is the wrong choice for rough jobsites, steep or soggy ground, and places with no truck access or power. In freezing weather, trailers need heat and freeze protection. For those sites, flushing units with sinks give a similar guest experience with fewer site needs.
Questions about restroom trailers
Can a restroom trailer be used for an emergency or a home remodel?
Restroom trailers work for emergency shelters, office renovations and long home remodels where a crew needs a real bathroom. Long rentals need scheduled pump-outs and water refills.
How long does trailer setup take?
Setup takes about 30 to 45 minutes after the truck arrives. We level the trailer, connect power and test flush and lights. Plan delivery the day before the event.
Do I need to empty the trailer?
Our crew pumps the trailer. For a one-day event no service is needed. Multi-day events get a pump-out and restock between days.
Can a trailer go on a lawn?
A trailer can go on a lawn if the ground is firm and dry. We may use plywood under the wheels to protect the grass.
