What five things set the price?
Five things set a porta potty price: the delivery distance from Salem, the unit type, the rental length, the number of service visits, and the number of units. Several units on one truck share one delivery fee. Holiday weekends and same-day drops cost more because routes are full.
- Location: distance and tolls from our Salem yard.
- Unit type: standard, flushing, accessible, sink or trailer.
- Dates: 28-day cycle or event; holiday weekends.
- Servicing: weekly is included; extra visits are not.
- Quantity: one trip, one delivery fee.
What does an itemized quote include?
An itemized porta potty quote lists the unit rate and billing period, the delivery fee, the pickup fee if separate, the number of service visits, any rush fee, and sales tax. Our quotes have no fuel surcharge and no card fee added at checkout. The total you approve is the total you pay.
How does 28-day billing work?
Jobsite and long-term rentals bill every 28 days, not by calendar month. A unit kept 6 weeks covers 2 cycles. Delivery and pickup are billed once. When you call to end the rental, billing stops on the pickup date. Ask about partial-cycle credit when a job ends early.
Do you charge sales tax?
New Hampshire has no general sales tax, so NH rentals have no sales tax. Massachusetts quotes add the state sales tax of 6.25%, and Maine quotes add the 5.5% state sales tax. The tax line shows on your quote.
How can I lower the cost?
You can lower porta potty costs by ordering all units in one trip, booking next-day instead of same-day, choosing a Friday drop for weekend events, and placing units where the truck can reach them. Long jobs cost less per week than short ones because delivery is charged once.

Questions about pricing
Why is a 3-day rental priced like a full cycle?
Most of the cost of a short rental is the truck trip, cleaning and turnaround, not the days. That is why short jobsite rentals are priced per 28-day cycle. Weekend events have their own Friday-to-Monday rate.
Do I need a deposit to rent a porta potty?
Most rentals need a card on file and no separate deposit. Large events and restroom trailers may need a deposit to hold the date.
Do you price-match?
Send us the other quote. If it covers the same unit, service and dates, we will tell you honestly whether we can match it.
Are there extra charges after delivery?
Charges after delivery happen only if you add something: an extra service, a move of the unit, or cleanup after vandalism or tipping. We tell you before any extra charge.
Do contractors get better rates?
Contractors with several units or several sites can get account pricing and one monthly invoice. Call to set it up.
